Our area's excellent fly-in fishing and hunting experiences for decades. You can explore clean and clear lakes and rivers with experienced hunters and anglers as you look for that gigantic walleye, trophy bull moose and more.
The Hearst area is a popular destination for snowmobilers with a network of over 1000 kilometers of some of the best trails in the world through beautiful northern forests. For cross country skiiers and snowshoe enthusiasts, there are over 28 kms. of scenic trails.
In the summer, canoeists explore the Missinaibi River, the longest Canadian Heritage River in Ontario. 426 km from in length from Missinaibi Lake to where it meets the Moose River in the James Bay Lowlands, the river offers unspoiled scenic beauty and varied natural heritage making it the ideal short or extended wilderness canoeing and camping experience.
